Landlords trust VlgeRent with leases, ledgers, and tenant records. Tenants trust it with rent. Here is how we protect both.
VlgeRent runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States, on the same platform as VlgeHOA. Compute, storage, and the database live inside a private network with no public database endpoints.
All traffic uses TLS 1.2 or higher. Data at rest - database, document storage, and backups - is encrypted with AES-256 managed by AWS KMS.
Rent and deposits are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 service provider. Bank account and card details are entered directly into Stripe and are never stored on or transmitted through VlgeRent servers.
Accounts are protected by AWS Cognito with optional multi-factor authentication. Access inside VlgeRent is role-based: tenants see their lease and their unit, landlords see their properties, and partners see what you grant.
Landlords never see tenant payment credentials. Tenants never see other tenants’ information. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it to train third-party models.
Infrastructure and application logs are monitored continuously with automated alerting. Dependencies are scanned for vulnerabilities on every build, and production deploys pass automated tests before release.

Enable multi-factor authentication in your profile. It takes a minute and stops nearly all account takeovers.
Download leases, ledgers, and reports whenever you like. Your data is yours.
Suspicious email, unexpected login, a bug that exposes data - write to [email protected] and we will respond fast.
Security researchers: responsible disclosure to [email protected] is welcome and appreciated.
